In Person Giving

For people attending in-person services at St. Luke's, donations offered by cash or cheque can be placed in the offering plate when it is passed around. Visitor's envelopes are available at the back of the church for your convienience. By filling out your name and address you will ensure that we can issue a tax receipt to you.

Boxes of numbered envelopes are available for regular givers who want to use cash or cheques.

Electronic Giving

St. Luke’s depends on the generosity of its members and other supporters to both fund its work, and care for our beautiful old church building. We currently have three options for electronic giving.

Option 1 - Automatic Monthly Debits

Using the form found at the link below, you can set up a monthly debit of a fixed amount from your bank account.

You can print and fill out the form then mail it with a void cheque or direct debit form from your bank to the Anglican Diocese of Calgary at the address indicated at the top of the form.

Alternatively, after filling out the form, you can scan it and the supporting document and send them by email to the email address at the bottom of the form.

Use this link:         Automatic Monthly Debit

When filling out the form, select the top box to set up a new debit. In the Parish field, enter "St. Luke" and in the location field, enter "Red Deer."

Option 2 - Interac e-transfers

Using your online banking service, you can use e-transfers to send your offering to St. Luke's.  Please use this email address for e-transfers.

offerings@oldchurchrd.com

We are registered to receive e-transfers as direct deposits, so no passwords are required.  Please include your name in the message field, and if you are not on our parish list, your address as well so that charitable tax receipts can be issued. You can also designate if it is a contribution to 'Heat the Church' or for some other specific purpose.

Option 3 - Canada Helps

You can donate online through Canada Helps by using the form below.

(Please note that when you make a onetime donation through Canada Helps, they have a 4% 'processing fee' so St. Luke's only receives 96% of your donation.  Like all online transactions, online charitable gifts are subject to transaction fees from banks and credit card companies.  Because Canada Helps is a registered charity, you receive a tax receipt for 100% of your donation.  Part of their transaction fee supports their issuing of an immediate tax receipt.  To assure that St Luke's church gets the full amount of your donation, consider giving by a cheque, cash or the online Interac e-transfer feature).
